Allow clients to join in on your specific class offerings by updating your default activity class type in FitGrid. Updating this allows your classes to be discoverable by users searching for specific class types in the FitGrid Class App.
Setting Your Default Activity Type
Similar to adding keywords to your website to help improve your search placement in Google, we would like to know what your studio’s primary class type. It might even be listed in your studio’s name but updating this field will help new client's locate your class offerings when searching for specific class types.
Searching by Activity
We’ve all done keyword searches on google. You pop in some keywords, hit search, and a list of results appear. The FitGrid Class app has similar filtering that allows clients to select an activity and search for it, so make sure your studio appears in the search results by updating this field.
Multi-Modality Studios
Does your studio offer more than one type of class? We’ve got you covered in this article. There, you can learn how to assign up to 3 types of activities to a specific class, increasing its discoverability.
For example, your primary activity is Yoga but you offer a high intensity pilates class a few times a week. In this case, you would change the primary activity type for this class from Yoga to Pilates and then add a second activity type of HIIT.
